As part of our Winter Break project, Little Ladies of Charity put together the following list of companies that give back to those less fortunate… simply by supporting them! Little Ladies urges you to give back, in whatever little way you can. So next time you’re shopping for necessities-- or a new mattress-- please consider purchasing from these companies.
Many on this list are items we use on a daily basis!
These are such fun socks! We love their tie dye patterns (which we even sneak into our uniform every now and then…. shhhh). We also love their Gripper Slippers! For every pair purchased, Bombas donates a pair to a homeless shelter. Win/win!
We love our Bombas!
Two Good is our favorite yogurt (especially in parfaits… yum!)! The company has a One Cup, Less Hunger program. For every cup sold, they donate an equal amount of food to someone in need! And here’s a fun fact: it only has 2 grams of sugar per cup. So, it’s a sweet treat every parent will want you to enjoy! Two Good is sold at major grocery stores! Try the vanilla, it’s a Little Ladies favorite!
These super comfy shoes we like to use for the summer months give a whopping 1/3 of its profits to grassroots efforts. They enable communities to become more involved to help one another… just like Little Ladies strives to do!
This brand of outdoor and travel gear caught our eye because it is named after the highest active volcano in Ecuador, which we’ve actually climbed! They give 1% of their revenue towards grants and nonprofits that look for ways to reduce poverty. They have donated 42 grants in 6 countries so far.
This company donates a book through Mastery Charter to Pennsylvania and New Jersey schools for every jewelry purchase. They have some great unique designs at reasonable prices. Check out their mini- me collection… tres chic for Mommy and me! Yet another win/win!
Did you know that many kids don’t have a mattress to sleep on? This means they wake up feeling achy and sleep deprived. Next time you’re looking to purchase a mattress, consider Leesa. Out of every ten mattresses they sell, this company donates one mattress to a family in need.
Did you know trees can actually talk? Well, not in our human language, but to each other through their roots. But if they could talk to us, they’d tell us, buy more Amour Vert! This company sells super chic sustainable tees. For every tee you buy, they plant a tree (through American Forests)!
Thrive Market is an online market for whole and healthy foods. For every paid membership Thrive Market offers a free one to someone in need!
Did you know that mosquitoes are the world’s deadliest animal? They are responsible for over a million deaths a year! These blood-sucking creatures transfer malaria, yellow fever, dengue, Zika, and many more viruses and parasites. Egad! But there’s a way you can help! Next time you’re in need of good quality bedding, consider Parachute! This bedding company partnered with the United Nation’s Nothing But Nets campaign to send life-saving malaria- prevention bed nets to those most affected by those deadly malaria infected mosquitoes! Hooray!
Not everyone needs glasses, but if you do, consider Warby Parker. They have donated over 8 million pairs of glasses through their Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program. They have some chic frames (for adults only, though)!
One stop shop for school supplies! For every item purchased, Yoobi donates a school supply item to a child in need.
Okay, so this is one of our favorite companies. They give 100% of their profits to charity! Since 1982, they have donated a mind-boggling $570 million to thousands of organizations around the world.
They have hundreds of products at your local grocery store. From frozen pizza to dog food to our favorite... coffee! No, we don't drink coffee, but our parents do. And trust us, they need coffee to keep up with us.
